The GMC lineup at the 2019 Montreal Auto Show

Truck enthusiasts had a blast this year in the GMC section of the Montreal International Auto Show.

The lineup of full-size SUVs and GMC trucks is on display at the Montreal Auto Show. Everyone can find what they need for work or everyday life.

GMC Sierra 1500 / HD 

The GMC team at the Montreal Auto Show wanted to highlight the different versions of the popular Sierra, as well as its new features. 

They demonstrated among other things the various configuration offered by the brand new MultiPro tailgate, an element that optimizes the practicality of the Sierra. 

While the Sierra 1500 offers a brand new four-cylinder turbocharged engine, it can also be equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 (420 hp). Heavy Duty versions (2500 and 3500) can be equipped with either a 6.0-liter (360-hp) V8 or a 6.6-liter (445-hp) Duramax turbodiesel V8.

2019 All Terrain Canyon  

The 2019 Canyon All Terrain Intermediate Pickup is also on display at the Montreal Auto Show. Its more compact format, which does not diminish its capacities, appeal to many buyers. Its many variations allow to build it according to the needs. 

In addition to remote unlocking, the 2019 GMC Canyon All Terrain features the Ez-Lift tailgate, StabiliTrak and AutoTrac systems, towing assistance guide lines with tow / haul modes, descent control and locking differential. 

It is offered with a Duramax turbo diesel 4-cylinder direct injection engine, a 6-speed automatic transmission and an off-road suspension. It has a towing capacity of up to 7700 lbs.

2019 Yukon XL Denali Ultimate Black Edition

The large SUV exhibited at the Montreal Auto Show has it all. It is also among the most popular in its segment of the industry.

The comfort of lack not inside. The Yukon XL Denali features, among other things, a premium 10-speaker Bose Centrepoint sound system, keyless entry and keyless start system.

In terms of safety, the Yukon XL Denali offers a head-up display system, IntelliBeam headlamps and an exclusive GM safety alert seat.

It comes standard with a 5.3-liter V8 engine. The Denali version features a powerful 6.2L V8 EcoTech engine with active fuel management, direct fuel injection and variable valve timing (420 hp, 460 lb-ft)

2019 Acadia SLT Black Edition

The Acadia mid-size SUV is in one of the fastest-growing segments of the industry. At the Auto Show, visitors will find the 2019 SLT Black Edition.

This SUV ideal for families who need space has been fully modernized. It also offers the OnStar 4G LTE system with the 10-year myGMC application with connected access, as well as the automatic three-zone temperature control.

This SUV offers a keyless unlock and start system. The driver will probably appreciate the rear cross traffic alert technology and parking assist. Two types of engines are available, either a 193-hp four-cylinder or a 3.6-liter (310 hp) V6 with active dual-clutch transmission and traction mode selection.

Terrain 2019 Black Edition 

The 2019 GMC Terrain Black Edition features a sleek design, flawless handling and 8-foot-long storage space when the rear seat is folded flat. 

In terms of technology, the 2019 Terrain features OnStar 4G LTE with the 10-year-old myGMC app with connected access, a new generation infotainment system with 4 USB ports and Bluetooth for two, among others. 

With distinctive LED headlamps, taillights and the StabiliTrak system, the GMC Terrain stands out in terms of safety. 

On the performance side, the 2019 Terrain features a 1.5-liter (170 hp / 203 lb-ft) or 2.0-liter (252 hp) turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 9-speed gearbox and traction mode selector, or, as an option, a turbodiesel engine (6.1 L / 100 km on roads). It also has DuraLife brake discs and a descent control.
