Actor Mark Wahlberg and Chevrolet: the world of film finds itself in the automotive arena
Well-known actor Mark Wahlberg has appeared in such films as Transformers, The Fighter, Ted, No Pain No Gain, Planet of the Apes, and many others. What is less known about him is his great interest in cars.

He has also been a savvy businessman since 1990. In partnership with his long-time friend Jay Feldman, who owns 8 Chevrolet dealerships in southeast and central Michigan, Mark Wahlberg has acquired the Chevrolet dealership in Columbus Ohio, immediately named Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet.

The acquisition of a Chevrolet dealership

First, Mark Wahlberg wanted a dealer with good facilities and an excellent reputation. The 47-year-old actor and businessman now wants people to get to know their country, including the U.S, at the wheel of a Chevrolet.

Mark Wahlberg is proud and inspired to represent such an iconic American brand as Chevrolet. He also says that he’ll continue on the hunt for innovation and that he’s 100% committed to the companies close to his heart.

Not just a walking advertisement

Mark Wahlberg is also very active with and involved in social causes. Recently, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Garner and Mark Wahlberg helped a family by raising more than $1 million to help a young boy fight Sanfilippo Syndrome. Sanfilippo syndrome is often called Alzheimer's disease in children.
